As our careers progress, we are exposed to varying degrees of feedback and criticism – constructive and otherwise. Feedback and even criticism is important. As the article provided in the link below says, feedback “improves performance, develops talent, aligns expectations, solves problems, guides promotion and pay and boosts the bottom line.” For something that does so much, it’s important to not only learn how to give it, but to receive it.

There are several ways to use LinkedIn effectively. Some use it simply as a corporate directory. Others use it as a resource for timely articles and some find it a very effective way to make new connections through known connections.
